SolarFold Bharat operates this store and website at www.solarfoldbharat.com, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). SolarFold Bharat is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. SolarFold Bharat reserves the right to accept or decline any order at its discretion. Your order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation from us.
- We must receive and successfully process your payment before an order is accepted
- Please review your order carefully before submitting — cancellations may not be possible after acceptance
- If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you via email or phone and issue a full refund
- Purchases are for personal or household use only and not for unauthorised commercial resale
Section 4 — Prices and Billing
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
- Prices are subject to change without notice; the price charged will be that in effect at the time of order
- We offer promotional discounts from time to time — these are governed by their own terms and conditions
- You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information for all purchases
- Payments are processed securely through Razorpay; we do not store your card or banking details
Section 5 — Shipping and Delivery
- All delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed
- We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, strikes, or any other events outside our control
- Once your order is handed over to our courier partner (Shiprocket or Delhivery), risk of loss passes to you
- Tracking details will be shared via WhatsApp and email upon dispatch
- Shipping is free for all prepaid orders; a ₹200 additional charge applies for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders

Section 6 — Limitation of Liability for Product Use
SolarFold Bharat shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Misuse, improper installation, or incorrect wiring of our solar panels, charge controllers, or accessories
- Use of products in conditions beyond their rated specifications (e.g., submersion in water, exposure to extreme heat or voltage)
- Damage to batteries, appliances, vehicles, or property caused by incorrect connection or operation of our products
- Use of our products in conjunction with third-party components not recommended or supplied by us
- Any personal injury arising from failure to follow product safety guidelines
It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to ensure correct installation and use of all products in accordance with the product manual and guidelines provided. Where in doubt, please consult a qualified electrician or solar technician.
This limitation does not exclude or restrict any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 with respect to defective goods or deficiency in services.
Section 7 — Intellectual Property
All content on our website including trademarks, logos, text, images, graphics, product descriptions, videos, and designs are owned by SolarFold Bharat or its licensors and are protected under Indian intellectual property laws including the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the Copyright Act, 1957.
SolarFold™ is a trademark of SolarFold Bharat, filed under the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Unauthorised use of the SolarFold name or logo is strictly prohibited.

Section 8 — Third-Party Links and Tools

SolarFold Bharat uses Shopify as its e-commerce platform. All sales and purchases are made directly with SolarFold Bharat. Shopify is not a party to any transaction between you and us and bears no liability for any product, service, injury, or damage arising from your purchase.

All personal data collected through the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
Section 11 — Feedback and Reviews
By submitting any feedback, reviews, or suggestions to us, you grant SolarFold Bharat a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish such content for any lawful business purpose.
You warrant that your feedback is accurate, does not infringe any third-party rights, and is not misleading, offensive, or unlawful. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
Section 12 — Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions
We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors, pricing inaccuracies, or omissions on our website at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
Section 13 — Prohibited Uses

- Damages arising from misuse or improper installation of products (see Section 6)
- Damages arising from courier delays or third-party service failures
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or order giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
Section 17 — Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SolarFold Bharat, its founders, employees, agents, and service providers from any losses, damages, claims, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law
- Your misuse of our products or Services
- Any false or misleading information provided by you
Section 18 — Consumer Rights and Dispute Resolution
Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected by these Terms. If you have a complaint about a product or service:
- Contact us first at team@solarfoldbharat.com — we aim to resolve all complaints within 3 business days
- If unresolved, you may approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District, State, or National) as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- You may also file a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000 or the online portal at consumerhelpline.gov.in
Section 19 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Section 20 — Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Section 21 — Waiver and Entire Agreement
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Warranty Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SolarFold Bharat.
Section 22 — Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
Section 23 — Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Section 24 — Warranty Policy
12-Month Comprehensive Warranty (Solar Panels Only)
Coverage Period: 1 year from the date of delivery
What's Covered:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Junction box or connector failures
- Panel output falling drastically from rated specifications (Note: An open-circuit voltage range of 21.0V to 23.6V is within normal operating range and does not constitute a defect)
- Lamination issues or delamination
What's Not Covered:
- Physical damage from drops, impacts, or mishandling
- Water damage from submersion beyond IP rating
- Modifications or unauthorized repairs
- Normal wear and cosmetic scratches
- Damage caused by incorrect installation or wiring
How to Claim:
- Email us at team@solarfoldbharat.com with your order ID and a description of the issue
- Share photos or videos, including multimeter readings if possible — our team will guide you through the testing process if needed
- We will respond within 3 business days
- Valid claims will receive free repair or replacement
Post-Warranty: Repairs required after the warranty period are chargeable. Please contact us for a quote.
Our Promise: Genuine defects are resolved fast, no questions asked.
